East Midlands Steam and Country Show 2024

Organised by locals, following on from the Excellent shows that ran for 40 years in the area. 

A great show in 2023 and will do nothing but improve even more. We welcomed feedback from crafters.
We have taken them all on board to improve things even more for 2024.

The show is transport based covering Traction Engines, Commercial Vehicles, Cars, Tractors and Military Vehicles etc, along with the usual items of a Fun Fair, Beer Tent, Evening and Daytime Entertainment etc. 2024 Will again feature various live bands. 

What happened in 2023. We saw lots and lots of people. but as is the normal these days making sure we have what they want is the main goal. We had some great reports of people spending.

We hope to have visitors in the range of 20,000 as per 2023.
Many families attend.
There has been a Steam and Country Show in the Village for over 40 years and is very popular with visitors. This event will keep building on that success.

Camping for those who wish is provided free of charge. Please camp end on with no awnings to maximize space. Space is limited and early arrival is recommended. There is no camping by the marquee its in a dedicated camping area within the showground. Electricity is provided and is intended for stand lighting use only. Under no circumstances may kettles or urns be used. Camping units are not to be connected to it.

Car parking is in the near by public are car a very short distance from the marquee.
You can still access your vehicle during show hours but can not be driven on to the show ground during opening hours.

Due to the popularity of past years events (many return year in, year out), many crafts are booked early and as duplication is kept to a minimum, early booking is recommended. Any applications from franchises or re-seller with no alteration to goods will be rejected. All stands are 6ft. deep, this is not usually enough room for double depth tables if you sit behind. If you plan to sit to one side extra space should be booked. In/Out spaces are provided on one side, these must be kept clear at all times. We will attempt to deal with special requests, but cannot guarantee to do so.

All prices quoted are for the whole show, as a general rule we only accept applications for the whole event. Part or single day applications are usually turned down. Stands that are not occupied on any one-day of the event will lose their space for any remaining days, and future applications will be rejected. We cannot Guarantee wall or corner stands.  Stands need to hold Public Liability Insurance; we can point you in the right direction for a cheap one if you need it. There are details one on our web site. Stands must comply with any current legislation that covers your stand and electrical equipment.

 Tables and Chairs are NOT provided. We also recommend you use a ground sheet and cover your stand at night, it keeps any overnight damp or condensation down.
Stands may be left set up overnight at your own risk, we do try and keep an eye out.

  Note: Please remember this is a Craft Marquee for Craft style stalls, selling of directly bought in items such as plastic toys is not allowed and you will be asked to remove them. No Raffles or lucky dips are allowed. Although we are fooled on occasions it does not happen a second time.

  New Exhibitors: Please supply a photograph of your stall as this helps to avoid duplication and planning of the marquee layout. Photos will be returned. They can also be emailed or provide website links.

To help keep a wide variety of Crafts, multi craft stalls applications will be rejected. Please bare this in mind before applying.
